Why Soltec Lounge?

To help you easily achieve states of deep relaxation, meditation and healing.

So that you can clearly see the nature of physical and non-physical reality.

How Soltec Lounge works

Music is input into the amplifier of SolTec lounge, typically from a CD or mp3 player. The music is amplified and relayed to the transducers, in the back and seat areas that produce sound, vibration and magnetic stimulation.

The entire seating platform vibrates such that pleasant vibratory stimulation is felt throughout one’s entire body. Headphones can be used and are recommended when it is necessary to screen out ambient noise.

What Soltec Lounge Is And What It Is Used For

SolTec Lounge is a comfortable seating platform that provides synchronized sound (music), full-body vibration and magnetic stimulation, all containing the same frequency content contained in multi-layered music.

Why was magnetic stimulation included with sound and vibration?

One of the developers, Dan Cohen, MD, is trained as a neurologist. During his training and afterwards, when he became active in the field of sleep disorders medicine, he became familiar with a number of sleep disorder specialists who cared for patients with narcolepsy, a sleep disorder. Dr. Cohen learned something about these patients that is rarely if ever discussed in the medical community. Many, if not most, narcoleptics who manifest the four major findings of their illness (sleep attacks, cataplexy, sleep onset REM and sleep paralysis), also regularly experience out-of-body experiences.

This last symptom is not described in medical textbooks, mainly because the medical profession cannot explain it and therefore chooses to ignore it.
In speaking with people who have out-of-body experiences, it becomes clear in their characterization of what occurs during such an event that their consciousness/mind leaves their body. They typically remark after their first event that, “I was up on the ceiling looking down on my body.” When asked, “Who is this I that is up at the ceiling?” they say, “Oh my, that was me and I was looking down at my body.”

It is as though they realize for the very first time that they (and their mind) are independent of and not a product of the body/brain.

Dr. Cohen reasoned that since the brain is an electro-chemical / electro-magnetic organ that this aspect of consciousness that can operate out of the body, must somehow be able to communicate with the physical brain. As such, although it is probably not electromagnetic in its own right, it can somehow communicate electromagnetically.

Since it is likely that it can communicate with the brain electromagnetically, then we could be able to stimulate it using electromagnetism. Doing so, with the same
frequency content that we are using to stimulate the physical nervous system (with sound, vibration and magnetic stimulation) may allow us to better integrate this energetic aspect of ourselves with our physicality.

We were principally interested in determining whether this form of “therapy” over time would enhance one’s conscious awareness as well as confer greater healing. To assist us in our research we recruited three gifted individuals who are able to perceive the human spiritual self or human energy system. Their findings have been very helpful in our research and development program.
