Code of Ethics

  • I will demonstrate my commitment to provide a supportive session to those who seek my professional service

  • I acknowledge the inherent work and individuality of each person by not discriminating or behaving in any prejudicial manner with clients and/or colleagues, including not treating or discontinuing treatment to a client with whom my objectivity would be impaired

  • I will provide a referral to other qualified practitioners for clients where there is a likelihood that a client needs to be seen by a different practitioner

  • I will demonstrate professional excellence through regular self-assessment of strengths, limitations, and effectiveness by continued education and training

  • I acknowledge the confidential nature of the professional relationship I have with clients and respect each client’s right to privacy

  • I will conduct all business and professional activities within their scope of practice

  • I will avoid advertising or professional titles that are misleading, deceptive, or false and be honest and authentic in my communication and messages

  • I accept responsibility to do no harm to the physical, mental and emotional well-being of self, clients, and associates, and will comply with any self-reporting requirements

  • I will refrain from engaging in behavior that may reasonably be interpreted as sexual conduct or sexual activities involving my clients

Terms and Consent

  • I acknowledge that all the personal information I disclose in my intake form is kept private by BodyTalk Minneapolis and only Nathan looks at my information for my session only.

  • I comprehend that my session will not move forward until Nathan has received my completed intake form and I receive an email from Bodytalkminneapolis’s email address.

  • I comprehend that BodyTalk acknowledges that the body can address:

    • Pharmaceutical medications

    • Smoking cigarettes and cannabis

    • Drinking beer, liquor and wine

    • Psychedelics

    • and drugs

    in a person’s body and communicate that BodyTalk is not a priority at the time of a session.

  • If BodyTalk is not a priority during the scheduled session, Nathan will ask the body what factors are a priority to be in place to relieve a session and communicate that to the client and reschedule the session.

  • To honor your healing process, the practitioner’s time, and other clients, there is a 72-hour cancellation policy.

  • When your appointment is canceled with less than 72-hour notice, or you do not show up, you will be charged for the appointment and need to re-schedule.

  • You will be given a 10 min window to be on time for your session, plan your travel time, for potential traffic, road construction and detours and weather in advance.

  • I acknowledge and am aware that the BodyTalk session provided by Nathan Navarrete, CBP is intended to enhance relaxation, increase communication within the areas of the body, and to tell me about possible energetic or emotional blocks that may be creating pain in my body.

  • BodyTalk is non-invasive, safe, and objective. It uses the body’s own innate intelligence to reestablish communication within itself.

  • I agree and comprehend that BodyTalk is not a substitute for medical treatment or medications. I am aware that Nathan Navarrete, CBP does not diagnose illness, diseases, nor does he prescribe medications.
